IT Support Specialist - device setup (remote)

Northwind Fern Arts Center is a cultural organisation in Nashville presenting exhibitions and performances. We are hiring an IT Support Specialist to take on device setup. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. Nice to have • Experience with event logistics. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Nashville. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
