IT Support Specialist - device setup (remote)

Bright Pine Water Authority is looking for an IT Support Specialist. The job centres on device setup for pipe repairs, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 32 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with pipe repairs. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Boston. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
