IT Support Specialist - device setup (remote)

Lumen Cobalt Learning Group is an education provider in Honolulu serving students and families. We are hiring an IT Support Specialist to take on device setup. Collaboration between teachers and staff is strong. What you will do • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • Experience with enrolment. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Honolulu. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
