IT Support Specialist - device setup (remote)

Highbridge Fern Freight moves freight for manufacturers and retailers out of Spokane. We are hiring an IT Support Specialist to take on device setup. We reward reliability. What you will do • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • Experience with carrier rates. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Spokane. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
