IT Support Specialist - device setup (remote)

We are growing our team at Rivermark Basin Energy and adding an IT Support Specialist whose main responsibility will be device setup. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with usage data. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in New Orleans. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
