IT Support Specialist - device setup (remote)

Amberfield Nest Water Authority supplies drinking water and treats wastewater for Fresno and nearby communities, and we need an IT Support Specialist to lead our device setup. Safety and public health guide our decisions. What you will do • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • Experience with billing accounts. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Fresno. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
