IT Support Specialist - device setup (remote)

We are growing our team at Bluepeak Loom Insurance and adding an IT Support Specialist whose main responsibility will be device setup. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with underwriting files. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, with flexible days. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Omaha. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
