IT Support Specialist - device setup (remote)

Cedar Harbor Telecom builds and runs fibre and wireless networks in the Nashville area, and we need an IT Support Specialist to lead our device setup. We invest in training. What you will do • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with service installations. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Nashville. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
