IT Support Specialist - device setup (remote)

Bright Ember Manufacturing Group is looking for an IT Support Specialist. The job centres on device setup for work orders, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with work orders. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Rochester. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
