IT Support Specialist - device setup (remote)

We are growing our team at Redstone Juniper Inspection Services and adding an IT Support Specialist whose main responsibility will be device setup. Training and certification are paid for. What you will do • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with equipment calibration. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Pittsburgh. • We reply to every applicant.
