IT Support Specialist - device setup (remote)

Harborlight Granite Water Authority Group is looking for an IT Support Specialist. The job centres on device setup for treatment plant data, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Our work is invisible when it goes well, and we are proud of that. What you will do • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • Experience with treatment plant data. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Portland. • We reply to every applicant.
