IT Support Specialist - device setup (remote)

Amberfield North Learning Group runs classrooms and tutoring across the Columbus area. We are hiring an IT Support Specialist to take on device setup. You would join a small organisation of about 95 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • Experience with school calendars. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Columbus. • We reply to every applicant.
