IT Support Specialist - device setup (remote)

Greenridge Field Water Authority is looking for an IT Support Specialist. The job centres on device setup for water quality, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 142 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. Nice to have • Experience with water quality. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Buffalo. • We reply to every applicant.
