IT Support Specialist - device setup (remote)

Harborlight Nest Markets serves neighbourhoods around Chicago with fresh food and everyday goods. We are hiring an IT Support Specialist to take on device setup. We like people who know our customers by name. What you will do • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with shrink and waste. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Chicago. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
