IT Support Specialist - device setup (remote)

Harborlight Corner Water Authority supplies drinking water and treats wastewater for Savannah and nearby communities. We are hiring an IT Support Specialist to take on device setup. Our work is invisible when it goes well, and we are proud of that. What you will do • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. Nice to have • Experience with water quality. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Savannah. • We reply to every applicant.
