IT Support Specialist - device setup (remote)

Ironwood Glen Legal Group is a Buffalo practice with attorneys, paralegals and client-service staff. We are hiring an IT Support Specialist to take on device setup. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • Experience with trust accounts. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Buffalo. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
