IT Support Specialist - device setup (remote)

Silverline Fern Arts Center is an arts centre in Minneapolis with a full calendar of events. We are hiring an IT Support Specialist to take on device setup. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with event logistics. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Minneapolis. • We reply to every applicant.
