IT Support Specialist - device setup (remote)

We are growing our team at Westbrook Cross Banking Services and adding an IT Support Specialist whose main responsibility will be device setup. We keep decisions close to customers and expect people to explain things plainly. What you will do • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. Nice to have • Experience with card disputes. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Cleveland. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
