IT Support Specialist - device setup (remote)

Harborlight Stone Arts Center is looking for an IT Support Specialist. The job centres on device setup for visitor services, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Everyone pitches in on show days. What you will do • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • Experience with visitor services. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Detroit. • We reply to every applicant.
