IT Support Specialist - device setup (remote)

Amberfield Corner Construction Group builds commercial and industrial projects around Chicago. We are hiring an IT Support Specialist to take on device setup. We build things that last and we are honest about schedules. What you will do • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with subcontractor invoices. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Chicago. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
