IT Support Specialist - device setup (remote)

Clearpath Loom Learning Group is looking for an IT Support Specialist. The job centres on device setup for attendance records, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 512 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with attendance records. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Richmond. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
