IT Support Specialist - device setup (remote)

Westbrook Yarrow Legal Group is a law firm in Pittsburgh serving businesses and individuals. We are hiring an IT Support Specialist to take on device setup. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • Experience with billing records. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Pittsburgh. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
