IT Support Specialist - device setup (remote)

We are growing our team at Fernwood Lakeside Hospitality and adding an IT Support Specialist whose main responsibility will be device setup. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. Nice to have • Experience with group events. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Cincinnati. • We reply to every applicant.
