IT Support Specialist - device setup (remote)

Westbrook Birch Energy Group is looking for an IT Support Specialist. The job centres on device setup for hardship programmes, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 12 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with hardship programmes. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Boston. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
