IT Support Specialist - device setup (remote)

Lumen Loom Staffing is a Sacramento staffing firm for warehouse, office and healthcare roles. We are hiring an IT Support Specialist to take on device setup. You would join a large organisation of about 645 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. Nice to have • Experience with candidate screening. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Sacramento. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
