IT Support Specialist - device setup (remote)

Amberfield Birch Freight Group coordinates shipments and warehousing around Savannah. We are hiring an IT Support Specialist to take on device setup. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • Experience with customer tracking. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Savannah. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
