IT Support Specialist - device setup (remote)

We are growing our team at Silverline Cedar Hospitality and adding an IT Support Specialist whose main responsibility will be device setup. You would join a large organisation of about 707 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • Experience with group events. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Providence. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
