IT Support Specialist - device setup (remote)

Clearpath Kestrel Financial Partners is looking for an IT Support Specialist. The job centres on device setup for regulatory reports, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • Experience with regulatory reports. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Houston. • We reply to every applicant.
