IT Support Specialist - device setup (remote)

Northwind Cedar Banking Services provides everyday banking and small-business lending around Anchorage. We are hiring an IT Support Specialist to take on device setup. You would join a large organisation of about 799 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with branch operations. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Anchorage. • We reply to every applicant.
