IT Support Specialist - device setup (remote)

Cedar Bridge Energy is looking for an IT Support Specialist. The job centres on device setup for service connections, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We work closely with regulators and communities. What you will do • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • Experience with service connections. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Houston. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
