IT Support Specialist - device setup (remote)

Rivermark Linden Legal Group is a Jackson practice with attorneys, paralegals and client-service staff. We are hiring an IT Support Specialist to take on device setup. You would join a large organisation of about 953 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • Experience with court deadlines. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Jackson. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
