IT Support Specialist - device setup (remote)

We are growing our team at Rivermark Granite Staffing Group and adding an IT Support Specialist whose main responsibility will be device setup. Recruiters here keep in touch with people long after placement. What you will do • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with client orders. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Milwaukee. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
