IT Support Specialist - device setup (remote)

Clearpath Meadow Staffing is looking for an IT Support Specialist. The job centres on device setup for retention, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We are in the people business and act like it. What you will do • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with retention. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Boston. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
