IT Support Specialist - device setup (Raleigh, NC)

Summit Cross Civic Services Group is looking for an IT Support Specialist. The job centres on device setup for public records, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Public service means patience, paperwork and pride in the outcome. What you will do • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • Experience with public records. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Raleigh. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
