IT Support Specialist - device setup (Raleigh, NC)

Harborlight Umber Arts Center Group runs a venue and education programmes in Raleigh. We are hiring an IT Support Specialist to take on device setup. Evenings and weekends are part of the job. What you will do • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with volunteer programmes. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Raleigh. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
