IT Support Specialist - device setup (Providence, RI)

Westbrook Hollow Facilities is looking for an IT Support Specialist. The job centres on device setup for cleaning schedules, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 20 people based in Providence. What you will do • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • Experience with cleaning schedules. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Providence, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
