IT Support Specialist - device setup (Providence, RI)

We are growing our team at Silverline Nest Community Partners and adding an IT Support Specialist whose main responsibility will be device setup. You would join a small organisation of about 30 people based in Providence. What you will do • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. Nice to have • Experience with benefits enrolment. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Providence, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
