IT Support Specialist - device setup (Portland, OR)

Amberfield Kestrel Financial is looking for an IT Support Specialist. The job centres on device setup for loan applications, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 21 people based in Portland. What you will do • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with loan applications. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Portland, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
