IT Support Specialist - device setup (Portland, OR)

Clearpath Meadow Manufacturing is a Portland manufacturer supplying regional industrial customers, and we need an IT Support Specialist to lead our device setup. Many of our supervisors started on the floor. What you will do • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • Experience with scrap and rework. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Portland, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
