IT Support Specialist - device setup (Portland, OR)

Foxglove Hollow Arts Center is an arts centre in Portland with a full calendar of events, and we need an IT Support Specialist to lead our device setup. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Portland. What you will do • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. Nice to have • Experience with ticketing. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Portland, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
