IT Support Specialist - device setup (Pittsburgh, PA)

Fernwood Linden Banking Services is looking for an IT Support Specialist. The job centres on device setup for deposit accounts, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Pittsburgh. What you will do • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with deposit accounts. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Pittsburgh. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
