IT Support Specialist - device setup (Pittsburgh, PA)

Highbridge Sparrow Freight is a Pittsburgh logistics company with trucks, warehouses and dispatch, and we need an IT Support Specialist to lead our device setup. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Pittsburgh. What you will do • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with carrier rates. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Pittsburgh, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
