IT Support Specialist - device setup (Philadelphia, PA)

Northwind Meridian Telecom provides broadband and phone service around Philadelphia, and we need an IT Support Specialist to lead our device setup. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with network equipment. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Philadelphia, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
