IT Support Specialist - device setup (Omaha, NE)

We are growing our team at Westbrook Maple Manufacturing and adding an IT Support Specialist whose main responsibility will be device setup. You would join a large organisation of about 551 people based in Omaha. What you will do • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with customer orders. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Omaha. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
