IT Support Specialist - device setup (Omaha, NE)

Nova Meridian Facilities cleans and maintains buildings for schools, offices and hospitals around Omaha. We are hiring an IT Support Specialist to take on device setup. Our crews keep other people's buildings running and we treat them well. What you will do • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with contractor visits. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Omaha. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
