IT Support Specialist - device setup (New Orleans, LA)

Bright Basin Foods is a New Orleans food manufacturer supplying grocers and food-service customers. We are hiring an IT Support Specialist to take on device setup. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in New Orleans. What you will do • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with sanitation schedules. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in New Orleans. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
