IT Support Specialist - device setup (New Orleans, LA)

Westbrook Glen Freight is looking for an IT Support Specialist. The job centres on device setup for claims, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We reward reliability. What you will do • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with claims. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in New Orleans, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
