IT Support Specialist - device setup (New Orleans, LA)

Rivermark Rowan Environmental Services Group is looking for an IT Support Specialist. The job centres on device setup for landfill records, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 14 people based in New Orleans. What you will do • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. Nice to have • Experience with landfill records. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in New Orleans. • We reply to every applicant.
