IT Support Specialist - device setup (Nashville, TN)

Cedar Quarry Energy supplies electricity and gas to homes and businesses around Nashville, and we need an IT Support Specialist to lead our device setup. We work closely with regulators and communities. What you will do • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with hardship programmes. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Nashville. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
