IT Support Specialist - device setup (Minneapolis, MN)

We are growing our team at Cedar Sparrow Freight and adding an IT Support Specialist whose main responsibility will be device setup. Dispatch, drivers and warehouse staff talk to each other constantly. What you will do • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. Nice to have • Experience with loads and lanes. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Minneapolis. • We reply to every applicant.
